At Retro Revival Shop, our goal is to seek a fair market price for consignors. Your input is important for establishing the selling price and we will work with you to determine a realistic selling price, determined by style, condition, and sales demand.
A consignment rate of 35%, with 65% of the selling price going to the consignor.
We offer merchandise at 2 locations: the Fort Worth warehouse and the Antique Gallery of Lewisville. Retro Revival will determine the best location for the merchandise to sell. If the item sells or is placed on layaway at the Antique Gallery of Lewisville, payments will not be distributed to the consignor until after the 5th business day of the following month. If the item sells at the Fort Worth warehouse, the consignor will be contacted for payment arrangement.
After 90 days, we will review the merchandise with the consignor to determine future plans such as price adjustment.
A phone number will be required, to assist with communication for customer offers.
An itemized receipt will be provided to the consignor when payment is disbursed.
Consigned items will be advertised on social media and at www.retrorevivalshop.com.
We retain the right to photograph the items being consigned and retain the images for use.
"I have been buying and selling mid century home interiors with Scotty and Liz of Retro Revival since 2009. It is not an exaggeration to say that practically every corner in my home has a piece purchased from them. Scotty and Liz not only have an elegant eye, and bring their clients quality and unique mid century finds, they are some of the greatest people that I have ever met. They are hard working, honest and fair which is why I entrust consignments to them. I know they have a popular following and have other clients that feel just the same. They are smart about marketing on social media and consistently keep products in the eye of their audience which is why consignments do not take very long to sell with Retro Revival." - Adele Francis, Denton, Texas
"In the first 9 months of our business relationship, my wife and I consigned approximately 25 pieces. Retro Revival has sold everything from very large, high-end case pieces to light fixtures for us - they've even sold pieces we didn't think anyone would be interested in! Retro Revival is always very careful with the pieces we take to them, and are very professional and straightforward when giving opinions on pieces we're thinking of consigning and estimating what they will be able to sell pieces for and providing approximate timelines for sales. The greatest side benefit of consigning instead of trying to sell what we can is the hassle of meeting with potential buyers and finding storage for pieces until they sell. Also, we know that Retro Revival will always treat our pieces as if they were their own, which is very reassuring." - Weslie Odom, Burkburnett, Texas
"I've been consigning with Retro Revival for about 4 years now. I am an art teacher by profession but I collect, buy and sell mid century furniture and art. Consigning with Retro Revival has been effortless for me. I would say conservatively that I have consigned 75 pieces with them and we have had nothing but awesome experiences with them." - Amanda Peterson, Fort Worth, Texas
"It has been a pleasure to work with Scotty and Liz over the last 18 months. After my parents passed away, instead of having an estate sale, I contacted Scotty to come and take a look at my parents furnishings. They were so very caring and thoughtful during this difficult time for me. Scotty assured me that the furniture would be carefully taken care of and priced accordingly. They have been extremely positive to work with and have continually kept me informed of my transactions. I would thoroughly recommend them when you are looking for pristine modern furniture." - Faye Slater, Fort Worth, Texas
